The
Women In Music Festival was created to promote and highlight the many roles undertaken by females working within the industry.
Celebrating the work of all, from receptionist to roadie, the much needed platform became an inspiration for many. In 2008,
the Festival became part of the International Women in Music Day declaration ceremony to take place in Birmingham. Now
WIM Day or IWMD is celebrated on March 28th of each year...an inclusive day for females of the industry to highlight their
worth.
